Up close
Real hardwood for homeowners who want authentic oak in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. Natural honey with knots and a bold grain: a warm, rustic feel, like a home with history. The top layer is European white oak over an engineered core that moves far less than solid wood with Tampa's humidity. Compared with a wood-look vinyl, it offers the texture and value of real hardwood, with wide, long planks, a protected satin finish and a slip-resistant surface. It is not waterproof: for full bathrooms or laundry rooms, a vinyl option is the better choice. Per the manufacturer, it can be installed over radiant heating. With hardwood, what decides how long the floor lasts is what you can't see: moisture in the slab. That's why we check the slab before we install.
