Up close
Real oak hardwood for anyone who wants an authentic, textured floor in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. Light natural oak with a straight, even grain: elegant and calm. The rift cut gives the straight, even grain you see in designer floors, and the wire brushing brings out the natural texture. The engineered core moves far less than solid wood with Tampa's humidity, and it can be glued, stapled or floated depending on the subfloor. It is not waterproof: for full bathrooms or laundry rooms, a vinyl option is the better choice. With hardwood, what decides how long the floor lasts is what you can't see: moisture in the slab. That's why we check the slab before we install.
