Up close
Made-in-USA porcelain tile for anyone who wants a stone-look floor, understated and easy to maintain, in living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. Nightfall Black is an almost-black gray with a slate texture, dramatic and modern, ideal for contrasting with light cabinets. Its matte surface mimics fine-grained stone and has an antimicrobial treatment per the manufacturer, a plus in bathrooms and kitchens. Matching bullnose and 2×2 mosaic are available to finish baseboards and showers in the same color. The manufacturer rates it for interior wet areas (IW+). With 12" × 24" porcelain, what decides whether a tile sounds hollow or cracks is what's underneath: the leveling of the slab and the coverage of the thinset. That's why we check the slab before we install.
