Up close
Decorative acoustic panel for anyone who wants a warm accent wall that also reduces echo, in living rooms, bedrooms, home offices or behind the TV. Dusk is a warm gray between light gray and sand (greige), soft and muted, that adds subtle warmth without competing with the furniture. This is the painted version: the color comes from the factory, with no sanding or painting on site. The slats are mounted on acoustic felt that, per the manufacturer, absorbs more than half of the sound that reaches it (NRC 0.55): you notice it in rooms with high ceilings, hard floors and little furniture. Each box holds 4 panels of 9.5" × 94.5", and they screw directly to the wall. It is for dry interiors. What decides the result with an acoustic panel is the fastening: each panel is screwed into the wall studs, so we locate the framing before we install so the lines stay plumb and the panel doesn't move.
