Up close
Matte marble-look porcelain tile for anyone who wants an elegant, bright floor that doesn't look shiny or slippery, in living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms. Eggshell is a cream with diagonal brown veining, inspired by Daino marble, warm and classic. Shade variation is slight (V2): the tiles look very similar to each other and the floor looks uniform, an advantage in large open spaces. Matching bullnose and 2×2 mosaic are available. The manufacturer rates it for interior wet areas (IW+). With 12" × 24" porcelain, what decides whether a tile sounds hollow or cracks is what's underneath: the leveling of the slab and the coverage of the thinset. That's why we check the slab before we install.
