Up close
Reclaimed-wood-look porcelain tile for anyone who wants a floor with lots of character, barn or industrial style, in living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms. Bleach is a whitewashed, weathered wood with pronounced texture, bright and coastal in style. It has real texture that follows the cracks and grain, and random shade variation (V4): each plank is different, like reclaimed wood, so it's best to blend boxes during installation. Herringbone and stacked mosaics are available in the same color. Per the manufacturer, it is rated for interior wet areas (IW+) and for heavy commercial use. With 12" × 24" porcelain, what decides whether a tile sounds hollow or cracks is what's underneath: the leveling of the slab and the coverage of the thinset. That's why we check the slab before we install.
