Up close
Real hardwood in extra-wide planks for anyone who wants the floor to be the star of large, open spaces. Taupe gray with a pronounced grain: elegant and calm, it looks better the larger the room. It is European white oak with a thick 4 mm top layer that can be sanded and refinished later on: a floor built to last decades, not years. At 9.5" × 86", these are among the widest planks in our showroom: fewer visible seams and a continuous look that narrow-plank floors can't match. It is not waterproof: for bathrooms or laundry rooms, a vinyl option is the better choice. Per the manufacturer, it can be installed over radiant heating. With hardwood, what decides how long the floor lasts is what you can't see: moisture in the slab. That's why we check the slab before we install.
